Program Synopsis
The Bachelor of Education (Mathematics) degree program is tailor-made for in-service teachers.
The curriculum focuses on three main components:
- development of learner pedagogical knowledge
- enhancement of learner teaching and learners-assessment methodology
- improvement of learner knowledge in science
The integrated approach of the curriculum is designed to increase the student’s skills so as to be able to stimulate the student’s intellectual interest in mathematics and guide them towards academic success. This program has a course combination in the fields of education and mathematics. Candidates are required to accumulate a minimum of 120 credits in order to graduate.
