The Bachelor of Education (Science) program is tailor-made for in-service teachers. The program is designed to enable these teachers obtain their university degree. The curriculum focuses on three main components:
- development of the learner’s pedagogical knowledge;
- enhancement of the learner’s teaching and student-assessment methodology;
- improvement of learner’s knowledge in science.
The integrated approach of the curriculum is designed to increase the student’s skills so as to be able to stimulate the student’s intellectual interest in the sciences and guide them towards academic success. This program has a course combination in the fields of education and science. Candidates are required to accumulate minimum 120 credits in order to graduate.
